Founded in 2022, NextGen Audio Systems re-defines what was thought possible in high performance analog tape recording and playback. 

Based on the latest acoustic research and information theoretic principles, we design superior products featuring exceptionally low noise, high dynamic range, and lowest possible linear- and non-linear- distortion characteristics, for remarkable, life-like, "you-are-there" clarity with unsurpassed information retrieval.

NextGen Audio Systems developments include:

• All low noise, DC-coupled, fully discrete transistor Class A amplifier stages used throughout our repro and record electronics, entirely free of capacitor memory effects
• Highly effective Group Delay equalizer and 2-stage B-H linearizer in our  record electronics for lowest possible distortion and unmatched record/repro dynamic range
• High performance balanced transformerless inputs and outputs
• Purist single-ended inputs and outputs for the most direct possible signal paths and the ultimate in analog performance

NextGen places the utmost emphasis on proper time domain response above all. We are the ONLY designers/manufacturers of high performance audio electronics to publish full impulse response and coherence function assessments of our gear.
